About Kshamata

Kshamata is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering and rehabilitating women survivors of trafficking, exploitation, and vulnerable circumstances by providing them with education, vocational training, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

At Kshamata, we support women who are survivors of sexual exploitation, gender-based violence, and those vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation.

Kshamata provides Residential care, legal support, counselling, literacy programs, vocational training, and livelihood opportunities to support women rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Kshamata mainly operates in Thane, Mumbai and has programs running across different regions of Maharashtra to support women in need.

Programs and Initiatives

The Reintegration Program supports women transition from shelter homes to independent living by equipping them with necessary life skills, vocational skills and employment support.

The Super 50 Project is a skill-development initiative that provides selected women with intensive training in various vocational fields, leading to job placements or self-employment opportunities.

Kshamata Unlimited is a social enterprise that provides sheltered employment    opportunities for women who have transitioned through Kshamata’s Reintegration Program. It focuses on tailoring, jewelry making, and other craft-based livelihoods.

Through the Utkarsha Micro Business initiative, Kshamata provides business training, financial literacy, mentorship, and resources to help women start and sustain their own businesses.

Kshamata accepts donations such as Grocery, Hygine material, clothes, nutrition items, kitchen supplies, and digital tools like laptops and printers.
