Building Stronger and Empowered Communities

Our programs

Empowering Women for a Dignified Future

“Every milestone achieved is a step closer to a more just and equitable society.”

A clear goal: To transform the lives of vulnerable women and adolescent girls by enabling them build a path toward safety, self-reliance, restoration and lasting change.

Every participant enters our program with a unique story, but many share the same struggles—limited choices, broken trust, and a deep need for care. We respond with a structured, outcome-driven approach that combines emotional healing, life skills, and vocational training.

By investing in each individual, we are not just changing one life—we are building stronger, empowered communities.

Target Group: Victims / Survivors of Exploitation and Violence

At Kshamata, we work with adolescent girls and women who have faced gender-based violence (GBV) including trafficking, abuse, and other forms of exploitation. Many arrive with deep trauma – removed from unsafe environments, institutional care, or the streets – often silenced, stigmatized and denied a chance to live  their lives.

Women are referred by legitimate agencies such as the Child Welfare Committee, Special Courts, as well as government or NGO-run shelter homes.

The program begins with trust-building activities, followed by counselling, skills training, and where possible, income-generating opportunities—ultimately preparing them for independent living.

Transformation  Program (KTP)

Age Group: 18 to 28 years (Adolescent girls and young women)

Kshamata Transformation Program (KTP) is a holistic rehabilitation and reintegration initiative that empowers women survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence. By promoting livelihood opportunities, the program gradually builds an ecosystem that enables independent living, smooth community reintegration, and long-term well-being.
